When will excited fans get more "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date updates? The rumor mill continues to turn, but limited confirmed details about the new offering surface online.

As of writing, the only confirmed "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date update claims that it will be a multi-part series game with a battle system that's almost similar to "Kingdom Hearts 3." As game producer Yoshinori Kitase previously mentioned, the new title will have an active dynamic moving forward, University Herald noted.

There has been no specific "Final Fantasy 7" remake release date announcement just yet, but fans peg the three-part game to be unveiled on 2018, 2019 and 2020 respectively. Previous reports also speculated that the new title could be a PlayStation 4 Pro exclusive.

According to Reddit thread, it would be highly likely that Square Enix has made necessary adjustments to the "Final Fantasy 7" remake to make it compatible with the PS4 Neo, which is now officially called PS4 Pro. The thread claimed that this could be the reason why there have been numerous delays with the game's launch.
