Google Pixel XL Latest News, Specs & Release Date: Upcoming Phone To Run Android Nougat 7.1 Together With Major Improvements

Google will unveil its new Android smartphone phone Pixel XL next month. The upcoming device has just shown up Geekbench in a benchmark listing that shows the phone will have 4GB RAM.

Rumors suggest that Google's new Pixel XL smartphone will run on the new Android Nougat 7.1 instead of 7.0. Apart from having 4GB RAM and 7.1 Nougat, the phone is labeled as Google Pixel with the name 'Marlin' categorized under 'motherboard.'

According to Phone Arena, the new iteration is thought to bring a few new specifications into the mix (Google Daydream VR support), along with some improvements and bug fixes. Google Pixel XL might bring with it exclusive specifications. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm chip that is clocked at 1.59GHz with four cores, but there is no news on the type of Qualcomm processor Google has used.

Rumors claim that the Google was planning to use the Snapdragon 820, although many speculate that Google might use the Snapdragon 821 processors, which may be the first phone in the US to use. However, there is no official news on Google's Pixel XL smartphone.

According to Android Police's David Ruddock, Google users who wished that the search giant, Google would "really get out there and market their phone" may eventually see that becoming reality next month. "The Pixels will be the first US devices with Snapdragon 821 by a long shot," he added.

Google's Nexus fans will be excited to use the all new Pixel XL, which reportedly will be the most powerful android smartphones available in the tech market. Other features of Pixel XL smartphone would be 12-megapixel rear camera and 5.5-inch Quad HD display.

Google might launch its powerful smartphone Pixel XL on October 4 or in the early month. Fans can also expect pre-order on the same day.
