Manchester United is prepared to offer the young, up and coming striker, 18-year old Marcus Rashford, a contract with the club that would make him the world's highest paid teenager. With such young talent on their roster, United hopes to hold him into a star
Manchester United is one of the most lucrative teams in football history, being the most recognized team in the English League, despite the dip in the team's performance over the years. The prized English club has made some big money trades prior to the season with the acquisition of Zlatan Ibrahimović, and the record breaking transfer of Paul Pogba from Juventus, Manchester United is always ready to make it's players happy.
Now, Manchester United plans on keeping one of their younger players on the roster by offering him a deal that would be hard to turn down, just after four months after signing his last deal. According to The Sun, the 18-year old Rashford is being offered a stellar £50,000 per week, making him the highest paid teenager, matching Bayern Munich's Renato Sanches.
Needless to say, Manchester United was more than impressed with Rashford's performance, after bursting onto the scene by scoring two goals in United's win over FC Midtjylland in the Europa League. Rashford went on to score 5 goals in 11 Premier League appearances, while coming off the bench, according to ESPN FC. The Manchester native also made it on the England National team for Euro 2016, under manager Roy Hodgson.
Jose Mourinho, the current Manchester United manager, hopes to see Rashford for a long period of time in the United red shirt, as he has recently signed a contract with the club that will have him playing with them until 2020. Rashford will also likely move up the ranks, as United's Wayne Rooney slowly fades into the background.
