Football Transfer News: Manchester United Reach Out for Gareth Bale

With the Premier League already under way, Manchester United are still looking to improve their rebuilding roster, and now "The Red Devils" are trying to once again reach out to Welsh football star and Real Madrid winger, Gareth Bale.

With the signings of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba over the summer, Manchester United still want to add more firepower to their already stacked squad. The Premier League club, captained by Wayne Rooney, are already becoming one of the most intimidating sides in European football, and with the addition of Gareth Bale, they will seem almost virtually impossible to overcome.

This is not the first time that Manchester United have wanted to sign the "Welsh Wizard," as they have tried to sign him when he was only 18 years old, playing in Southampton Hotspur, and again when they asked if Bale were available for signing from Real Madrid, according to the Manchester Evening News, and perhaps this year, they might probably be able to put Bale in the Manchester United Red shirt.

While there are some rumors revolving around the football world that Real Madrid and Gareth Bale aren't close to signing a deal due to salary issues, claiming that Bale wants £17 million, which is only a million less than the face of Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo. According to SPORT English, Manchester United are willing and ready to offer the Welshman £20 million a season, but with Real Madrid's track record compared to Manchester United's, Bale could possibly make a deal with his current team, and stay on the winning side.

Currently, Manchester United places third in the Premier League standings, behind Manchester City and Chelsea, winning their first 3 games, but only scoring six goals. It is only early in the Premier League, and United is looking to climb up the rankings and winning the league, a feat they have been unable to again accomplish in recent seasons.
