Al Jefferson just signed with Indiana Pacers this offseason but it seemed that he will not be playing long for the Pacers. According to NBA trade rumors, Pacers could swap Jefferson to Brooklyn Nets for Brook Lopez.
According to Chatt Sports Net, Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets are in trade talks involving Brook Lopez and Al Jefferson. The report notes that the potential trade could be happening this mid-season. Between the two players, it seemed that it was Nets who needs to upgrade their roster.
Brook Lopez has been with Brooklyn Nets for all of his years in the NBA league. Only a few of the players stayed in one franchise until they retire. To name a few, Kobe Bryant was with Los Angeles Lakers all throughout his NBA career while Tim Duncan was with San Antonio Spurs.

According to Elite Sports NY, Brooklyn Nets have to let go of Brook Lopez. The player has been with Nets in the past 8 years and has played under nine different head coaches. Unfortunately, Nets did not progress to the finals with Lopez. He is not the guy whom Brooklyn Nets could build a winner around.
The report suggests that Nets deal Brook Lopez for a more competent player that could help the team advance. Per CSN, Al Jefferson could fill the void that Lopez would leave in Brooklyn Nets.
