Paul Walker's tragic death in a car crash in 2013 led the movie 'Fast & Furious 7' to end with a touching scene paying poignant tribute who had walked with the movie since its first instalment. Reportedly, Walker's character will be returning to the 'Furious' franchise.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Walker's brothers Caleb and Cody revealed that the billion-dollar 'Furious' movie's future instalments might feature 'Paul Walker's character.' Caleb Walker told ET: "I had a phone call with Vin [Diesel] for about an hour and we really discussed this a while back. He wanted [our] blessing."
Diesel, whose work with Paul Walker led to a deep loving friendship, asked the Walker family if they thought it "would be acceptable to maybe bring Paul's character back, to really kind of let his fans know he's still out there," Caleb said to ET's Cameron Mathison.
"Universal wants to make sure to be respectful of Paul and his image too, and his family," Cody added. Caleb and Cody had worked as body doubles to help the makers of "Fast & Furious 7" complete the movie.
Walker brothers shared that Paul left behind his young daughter Meadow, who will be turning 18 this November. Cody said that Meadow is "doing a lot better" since the accident. To Caleb and Cody, Meadow is the most important thing in the world and they are very protective of her.
Both the brothers are dedicated to Walker's passion project Reach Out WorldWide. ROWW recently closed the second annual Game4Paul fundraiser, gathering donations to help flood victims in Louisiana.
Although, Walker brothers mentioned the plan to return Paul Walker's character they did not specify whether the plans to bring back Brian O'Conner would play out in "Furious 8", which hits theaters on April 14th, 2017.
