iOS 10 Can Now Be Downgraded Back To iOS 9; Unsatisfied Apple Users Willing to Downgrade

Apple's best ever released operating system hits up with problems and users are willing to go back to the previous version iOS 9. Check out the steps to go back to iOS 9.

The reasons for the downgrade of the newly released iOS 10 to iOS 9 are hitting up the internet from Apple users. The users brought up the issues on internet and seem to be a disappointing feedback for the new Apple's Software.

The Apple users claimed that iOS 10 software made their devices sluggish and is less enjoyable than the previous version. The new iOS 10 version had some major changes which includes revamped emojis, iMessage apps and the controversial removal of the swipe-to-open lock screen.

Data Backup - the first and foremost step before hurrying up to downgrade the iOS 10 is the backing up of personnel data available in the phone. The existing files, contacts and photos might be disappeared if not backed up.

Download of .ipsw file - finding the .ipsw file is a second task, and can be found by a clicking on the Go > Library after holding down the Option key. The Library folder is usually invisible in the Home folder. Holding down the Option key will lead to Library selection.

iTunes folder to be opened up and scroll for software updates folder normally mentioned as iPhone Software Updates. After opening the software update folder, search for a file called "[yourdevice] _9.3.5_ [firmwarenumber] _Restore.ipsw" or something similar. Move the file to the computer's desktop.

If the file is not found, search on the Internet for ipsw download and Download the appropriate .ipsw file ("[yourdevice]_9.3.5_[firmwarenumber]_Restore.ipsw") and save it to your computer's desktop.

File transfer to the Apple device - connect the Apple device to the desktop computer and open the .ipsw file. Device summary to be selected in the program followed by shift button or Mac, Alt/Option press and tap on restore option provided in it.

The 'Find my iPhone' feature needs to be disabled at this stage. The recovery mode can be turned on by shutting down the device and holding the Home button along with the device connected to desktop or iMac. Release the button if the screen has displayed 'connect to iTunes'.

The important notification should be received from iTunes to give an idea that the device is in of recovery mode. Shift or Option to be pressed and tap on Restore to open the iOS 9 ipsw file and the iOS 9 will be installed in few minutes.
