"Skylanders Academy" is the upcoming French computer-animated spin-off television series based on the Skylanders franchise. Reportedly, the series will be debuting at Netflix on October 28.
Netflix announced back in June that it was working on animated originals show based around Activision Blizzard's wildly successful Skylanders franchise, to be called "Skylanders Academy." A number of reasons attribute to watch the animated series.
First - would be for fans of the franchise, or for parents whose kids love the franchise, will be pleased to learn that the "Skylanders Academy" series debuting on October 28 will be thrilling.
Second - the makers of "Skylanders Academy" have already planned for the second series for late 2017, building confidence in the fans and guess what to expect in the upcoming series.
Third - the 28 October launch date means that "Skylanders Academy" will arrive just after the next game in the Skylanders game series, Skylanders Imaginators which launches in Australia on 13 October. So if fans cannot afford all the figures and starter set for the game, then be able to keep your kids sated with "Skylanders Academy" TV series only two weeks later.

The series follows the heroic adventures of the Skylanders team, a group of heroes with unique elemental skills and personalities who travel the vast Skylands universe, protecting it from evil-doers and showing the next wave of Academy cadets how to do things the "Skylander way."
According to Finder.com.au, "Skylanders Academy" stars Justin Long as Spyro, alongside Ashley Tisdale as Stealth Elf; Jonathan Banks as Eruptor; and Norm MacDonald as Glumshanks. Other celebrities include Susan Sarandon, Daniel Wu, Parker Posey, Catherine O'Hara, Chris Diamantopoulos, Bobcat Goldthwait, Diamond Minecart and Harland Williams.
