The "Lego Dimensions: The Lego Batman Movie Story Pack" is now available for preorders on Amazon ahead of its Feb. 10, 2017 release date. The add-on bundle is a mixed bag of goodies that represent a lot of things that will be featured in the upcoming "The Lego Batman Movie" that is also slated for release the same day the expansion pack hits the U.S. market.
According to Game Idealist, the expansion pack comes with Batman, Batgirl and Robin miniature figures, the Bat-Computer gateway and the 2-in-1 Batwing vehicle. All of these bundled figures will come in handy in unlocking the Adventure World in the game, as well as the six levels that are inspired by "The Lego Batman Movie."
What's good about the add-on bundle is it will not require players to purchase a new peripheral. Forbes reported that the "Lego Dimensions: The Lego Batman Movie Story Pack" makes use of the original Toy Pad expansion in order for the physical toys to be transported to the virtual game.
When playing "Lego Dimensions," players can make use of the add-on bundled items like the 3-in-1 Batwing to build either the Bat-Tank or The Black Thunder. Meanwhile, the Batgirl and Robin figures will be useful in obtaining access to the Adventure World.
In addition, Batgirl and Robin come with exciting skills. The former has batarang, glide and stealth abilities, while the latter has agility and dive skills. Robin also has this special transformative move that enables it to turn into the Nightwing during encounters with opponents.
"The Lego Batman Movie Story Pack" is based on the upcoming 3D animated action-comedy film that's produced by Warner Animation Group. The spin-off of "The Lego Movie" is a Warner Bros. Pictures production. it is directed by Chris McKay and features the voices of Rosario Dawson, Michael Cera, Ralph Fiennes, Zach Galifianakis and Mariah Carey, as per Entertainment Weekly.
The expansion pack, which costs $49.99, comes with detachable Lego Toy Tag for each character and components. To preorder, visit its Amazon page here.
