‘Limitless’ Season 2 Latest News: Netflix Explains Why They Did Not Pick Up The Show; Bradley Cooper More Interested With Directing

It has been months since the announcement on the cancellation of "Limitless" Season 2 took place and fans are still waiting for reports on the network who will take the time to take the show. From fans petitioning the return of the show to a possible Bradley Cooper intervention to save it. But is there really hope for a second season?

Fans were stunned when CBS refused to air "Limitless" Season 2 although Craig Sweeney already provided a good synopsis for the second season. New characters were also introduced and a good finale also ended season 1 with questions of where Senator Edward Morra is and what would happen to Brian now that his out of the clutch of the FBI.

But things went an expected turn when "Limitless" together with "Supergirl" were canceled. However, "Supergirl" was picked up by CW and fans waiting for "Limitless" Season 2 were hoping that it would be picked up by Netflix or Amazon since according to CBS they were in talks of a possible station to get the show.

Things went to a full stop for "Limitless" Season 2 as Amazon did not want to continue the show while Netflix which was the last hope for the second season only gave a chance for "Limitless" Season 1 as it tests the waters for viewers to watch it continuously. Fans were even more disappointed when Craig Sweeney answered a fan question on why Netflix has still not decided on a possible second season.

"Netflix explained that they are not confident with the complicated plot of the series which is wy they are not inclined to pick up the show," Craig Sweeney said. This leaves fans to hope that Bradley Cooper will act and save "Limitless" Season 2 as he is also the executive producer of the show.

However, Bradley Cooper is pretty busy with his latest movie, according to FX News Call as he is now busy with his latest project as a director that stars Lady Gaga. Craig Sweeney also recently tweeted an update on "Limitless" Season 2 and crashed the hopes of fans.

It seems that everyone who is involved with "Limitless" Season 2 has already given up. Fans, however, are still hoping that with "Limitless" and its good storyline that any network would pick up the show as it is now certain to create more viewers than ever before.
