ABC's Thursday-night TV show lineup this fall is definitely getting more exciting with the season premiere of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3. Based on the latest spoiler reports, the upcoming season will have some element of surprise, not to mention some exciting developments especially with regards to the characters of the series.
In "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3, infamous law professor and criminal defense lawyer Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) will find herself in the middle of a malicious controversy after she was accused of being a murderer. In addition, Annalise's team the Keating 5 (Wes, Connor, Laurel, Asher and Michaela) will also face some challenges as they return in the second year of law school at Middleton University, Parent Herald previously noted.
Aside from Annalise's reputation being put at risk in "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3, actress Viola Davis also shared some interesting scoops in the upcoming season. According to Entertainment Weekly, Davis has said no to sex scenes, especially if she gets thrown up against a wall.
Davis' "no sex against a wall" rule has further led to more restrictions. As a matter of fact, her statements seemed to suggest that there would be no sex scenes for Annalise in "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3.
Meanwhile, the titles and the official synopses of the first three episodes of "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 have been already revealed. "HTGAWM" season 3 episode 1 has been titled, "We're Good People Now," where it will introduce a major mystery, as per TV Fanatic.
As for "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 episode 2 titled, "There Are Worse Things Than Murder," the episode will follow Annalise's confrontation with the Middleton University Board. As per SpoilerTV, some secrets will also be revealed as the Keating 5 deal with a case involving domestic violence and murder.
In "How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 episode 3 titled, "Always Bet Black," the series will reportedly introduce Laurel's side of the story. Additionally, Laurel is also set to make a shocking discovery from a "surprising source," CarterMatt noted.
"How to Get Away with Murder" season 3 will premiere on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 10 p.m. on ABC. The upcoming season is also set to introduce its ensemble of guest stars such as hip hop soul artist Mary J. Blige, Esai Morales and Amy Madigan while "Chicago PD" star Behzad Dabu will be reportedly joining the cast.
