Michael Schumacher Health Condition [LATEST UPDATES]: Former F1 Superstar’s Family, Fans Losing Hope Over Schumi’s Recovery? German Racer Remains Paralyzed?

Earlier this week, Michael Schumacher fans all over the world experienced a roller coaster ride of emotions after the Schumacher family attorney Felix Damn shared the real status of the German racer's health condition in a court proceeding. Even though fans were glad that finally they got a real update, they were also devastated upon learning the embattled F1 champion is still unable to walk or stand even with the assistance of the medical experts.

Last December, Michael Schumacher fans had a glimmer of hope when German magazine Bunte reported that the 47-year-old F1 superstar was walking again. The claims, however, was immediately debunked by Schumi's longtime manager Sabine Kehm, saying the reports were untrue, irresponsible and only gave false hopes to all the people involved, New York Daily News noted.

Due to the irresponsible reporting of the German magazine, Michael Schumacher's family filed charges against the publication. According to The Telegraph, the Schumacher's were seeking €40,000-€100,000 (£34,000-£85,000) for the invasion of Schumacher's privacy.

With that said, Michael Schumacher's lawyer Felix Damn was forced to deny the speculations and shared some tidbits of information regarding Schumi's current health condition. In an interview with CNN last week, Damn revealed that he told the court on Friday, Sept. 16 that Bunte's claims were totally false and untrue.

Even though Damn refused to make further comments about Michael Schumacher's health condition, he told the court that the seven-time F1 champ can't walk or even stand with the help of his special therapists. Damn also didn't reveal if Schumi is currently in a paralyzed state.

Meanwhile, Damn's statements on Schumi's health condition was the latest update since the German car racer underwent two life-saving operations that placed him in a medically induced coma for six months. The operations were due to the serious head injury he sustained during a tragic skiing accident at the French Alps in December 2013.

As for the verdict in the lawsuit Michael Schumacher's family filed against Bunte, it is expected to come in October. For those who have been hoping for some good news on Schumi's health condition, this report may be devastating but as the ever-trending social media plea #KeepFightingMichael continues, hope is still never lost.
