Michael Schumacher Health Condition Latest News Updates: Former F1 Champ Needing ‘Miracle’ For Complete Recovery? Pal Claims Schumi’s Health In ‘Difficult Situation’

Michael Schumacher has remained a newsmaker despite being absent from the public's prying eyes for the past three years since he suffered a serious head injury due to the tragic skiing accident at the French Alps in December 2013. Even though updates about his health condition have been elusive, Schumacher's friend recently claimed that the embattled Formula One (F1) champ is in need of miracles to recover.

Dubbed as F1's "puppet master," Gerd Krämer recently shared some information about his pal Michael Schumacher's current health status. According to Daily Express, Schumacher's first sponsor and ex-Mercedes' sports marketing head claimed that it would require some miracles for the 47-year-old German car racing legend to be able to make a comeback in the racing scene or just be seen in public.

Krämer also added that Michael Schumacher has been totally guarded by his family as the health condition of the seven-time F1 champ is "in a more than difficult situation." Krämer's statements reportedly circulated just weeks after ex-Ferrari chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo claimed that Schumi has been "reacting" well to treatment.

Meanwhile, Michael Schumacher's family and his longtime manager Sabine Kehm have yet to release any official medical bulletin about Schumi's current health condition and recovery. However, Daily Star noted that the former F1 superstar is still unable to speak, paralyzed and suffering from memory problems.

In other Michael Schumacher-related news, 35-year-old Brazilian racer Felipe Massa announced on Aug. 29 that he is retiring from his F1 career at the end of the season. As per USA Today, Massa decided to make his retirement announcement at the Italian Grand Prix because it was where Schumacher also announced his retirement 10 years ago.

Massa was also full of gratitude to Michael Schumacher as it was Schumi who chose to leave a decade ago and gave him his spot and the opportunity to stay and continue his racing career, BBC quoted. Meanwhile, the last race of the season in Abu Dhabi will be Massa's 250th in the span of his 15-year racing career.

As for Michael Schumacher, he is still recovering in his estate in Geneva, Switzerland. Parent Herald previously reported that Schumi's health condition remains "unchanged."
