NBA Trade Rumors: Toronto Raptors Offering Jonas Valanciunas For DeMarcus Cousins? Kings Trading Cousins?

DeMarcus Cousins has been in the NBA trade rumors for more than 2 months since the NBA off-season started. As of the moment, the Toronto Raptors are now rumored to be one of the suitors of DeMarcus Cousins.

According to Asia Starz, the Toronto Raptors could be the landing spot for the 6'11" Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins. It has been reported that Cousins could be acquired by the Raptors by sending Jonas Valanciunas, Cory Joseph, and Norman Powell.

DeMarcus Cousins have been into several serious issues with the Kings. Cousins doesn't tag along with Coach George Karl. Cousins has been also involved in numerous locker room fights.

The Sacramento Kings and DeMarcus Cousins had a very tough season last year and they are not in a good relationship. Several basketball analysts are speculating that the Kings are likely to consider trading Cousins this season as he is showing no interest in re-signing by the end of his contract in 2018.

Despite many issues with Cousins, according to Chat Sports, the Kings might not come up trading or giving up on DeMarcus Cousins. Vlade Divac seemed that he is looking for a way to retain DeMarcus Cousins by rebuilding the Kings as early as possible.

In a report held by the Fan Sided, they mentioned that the Kings' need to accept the fact that Cousins will be moving out after his contract. Cousins needs to work on his attitude and temper for him to grow a professional basketball player.

Cousins, though he is not happy with the way the Kings' plans are going through, he managed to play his best season, finishing with a career high 26.9 points 11.5 rebounds while playing 34.6 minutes per night. This proves that DeMarcus Cousins is a star in the making.
