One of the longest running sitcoms on television, "The Big Bang Theory," has ended its 9th season last May and is bound for yet another successful new season. Critics have mixed emotions about "The Big Bang Theory" season 10, as they have voiced out their different opinions on September 23.
According to USA Today, there is a huge possibility that "The Big Bang Theory" could go on even after season 10. Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) getting married on Season 9 while Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) are good indications that "The Big Bang Theory" is meant to stay up to season 11. Those two story lines suggest of another new chapters in the lives of the main characters. It is like seeing them evolve and watching their characters grow right before their audience's eyes.
It is a good theory that those signs could be the start of a new beginning for the cast of "The Big Bang Theory," as they move forward to a new season. However, there are critics that say this could be the end for the hit CBS sitcom, especially the fact that their actors are paid a lot for every episode. Aside from that, UPROXX wrote that the ratings of "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 went down about 11 percent for viewers who are 18 to 49 years of age.
The network might not see that as a big deal for now because "The Big Bang Theory" is still on top of its game despite the ratings. But eventually, if it continues to lose viewers, then it might affect its standing and its presence on television. Do you think "The Big Bang Theory" would remain even after season 10?
