Chinese Believe They Came From The Moon! Will FAST Telescope Help Hunt Aliens?

China has successfully completed the making of the world's largest single -dish radio telescope. FAST, is the 500-meter Aperture Spherical Telescope situated in southwest China's Guizhou Province. Chinese ancient beliefs on Aliens has made it more interesting for them to use FAST for alien studies.

As reported by The New York Times, FAST began operating on Sunday. The dish is made of 4,450 panels and boasts a collecting area of 2.1 million square feet. After the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico, which spans 1,000 feet across, FAST is the biggest of its kind on earth with 1.640 feet in diameter.

On Sunday, China's President Xi Jinping of China congratulated the scientists, engineers, and builders who completed the project, which he said is a "major breakthrough in the original frontiers of science." FAST will be used by the curious Astronomers to map the shape and formation of the universe, relying on its large size and a mobile detector suspended above the dish to explore space more quickly, deeply and thoroughly than they can with smaller telescopes. The telescope cost $184 million, Chinese state news reported.

A book, China's Major Mysteries by author Paul Dong describes how Chinese confronted with advanced flying aircrafts from outer space. The chapter 8 of a very ancient manuscript called Huai-nan-tsu, describes an idyllic Age, when all living creatures on Earth, men and animals lived in peace and harmony. During this time, the manuscript says, "spirits came frequently to the people of earth, to teach the wisdom of the gods."

Dr Douglas Vakoch, president of METI International said, "FAST will look for signs of advanced extraterrestrial civilizations in the vicinity of other stars, seeking radio signals that stand out as unlike anything that the universe can create," Vakoch told The Telegraph.

It is a "game-changer in the search for life in the universe," he added. The Chinese believe their earliest ancestors came down from the Moon to establish their Celestial Empire on Earth.
