Apple iPhone 7: Consider These Facts Before Buying The New iPhone 7

After a week since the release of the much anticipated iPhone 7, people are still lining up to get the new smartphone from Apple. But before shelling out some money on the new iPhone, consider these facts first.

The iPhone 7 is indeed the hottest commodity in the smartphone world today, as Apple currently leads in the sales category among other smartphone production companies. While the allure of being an iPhone 7 owner, and being ahead in terms of smartphone advancement, there is reason that getting the $800 handheld may not be the best move.

According to News.com.au, the new iPhone 7, is relatively modest in terms of redesigning the previous model, that the new Apple smartphone is simply a newer, sleeker version of the iPhone 6. The immediate changes the iPhone 7 has is the removal of the headphone jack, improved battery life and the new home button, as well as an improved front and back camera, but still ultimately translates as an upgrade and not an entirely new phone, and some won't even be able to tell the iPhone 7 apart from the older iPhone 6, if seen from afar.

Basically, minus the minor upgrades, the iPhone 7 is simply the iPhone 6, but without the headphone jack, a feature that has caused some outrage among fans of the Apple smartphone series. While Apple has found a solution to the lack of the headphone jack with the wireless Bluetooth air pods, they claim that years from now, the world will be able to catch up with the technological times.

According to Forbes, the redesign of the iPhone 7 is only the stepping stone for the future advancement of smartphones, and argues that they did what they had to do, in the name of progress. The removal of the headphone jack and the use of the lightning port, makes for premium phone space, and better sound quality, as well as room for physical innovation on later models.

With this in mind, should you really get the new iPhone 7, or wait for the later versions, which could possibly boast a more significant upgrade?
