2K Sports' "NBA 2K17" is already available for gamers and basketball fanatics alike, and the game's development team is hard at work on making the game better, by releasing all-new updates to make the game as true to life as possible.
There is no doubt that "NBA 2K17" is the best basketball video game today, beating out rival series "NBA Live" from EA Sports. Still, 2K Sports is still working around the clock to release updates that make the game all the more realistic.
A new patch update for the game was released and it contained a lot of changes and bug fixes, and is over 7GB. Here are a few notable changes in the update, with the full list available on the Playstation Lifestyle Blog.
For the general changes on "NBA 2K17," the home courts of the New York Knicks and the Milwaukee Bucks have been given a bit of a makeover to make it more like the real ones, the Indiana Pacers have added a 50th anniversary jersey to their selection as well as the improvement of the jerseys of the teams to be more accurate, and it fixed the bug that does not let players who pre-ordered the game to use the 1992 Dream Team on Play Now.
Substitutions from timeouts will now be automatically made, instead of waiting for the next dead-ball, passing is now faster while the frequency of lob passes were reduced, and the Euro League's 5-Second Closely Guarded rule was fixed so that the violation will only occur when players hold the ball, instead of dribbling.
Numerous changes were also made for the "NBA 2K17" MyCourt, MyPark, 2K17 Pro-Am, MyCareer, MyGM, and MyLeague, as well as a few more bug fixes, which ultimately gives players a better overall gaming experience.
"NBA 2K17" is currently one of the best releases in the "NBA 2K" series, with fans and critics applauding the gameplay and the authenticity of the new title. It holds a 9/10 rating on gaming website, Game Spot.
