Goran Dragic has been in numerous trade rumors this off-season and rumors has been extended after Chris Bosh failed the physical test. The Miami has never confirmed anything and likely not willing to give up their remaining star.
During the off-season, the Miami Heat lost two of the remaining pieces of the Miami Heat big 3, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Other key players left as well like Joe Johnson, who signed with the Utah Jazz and Luol Deng went to the Lakers, leaving the Miami Heat with Goran Dragic and Hassan Whiteside as the only player that averaged double figure scoring.
The Miami Heat can no longer afford to lose either of their two core players, Dragic and Whiteside. The Miami Heat's future now lies on Goran Dragic, as he mentioned during the interview, he wants to lead the young players in a very much up-tempo style.
According to the Heat Nation, Goran Dragic was caught in a quick interview and discussed how things are going to the Heat without Chris Bosh. Though he is caught up in a tight situation, Dragic cited that he is ready to lead the Miami Heat without his fellow stars Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh.
In addition, Dragic also mentioned that the Heat will now be facing a ton of challenges. Dragic said that he respects Wade's decision to move to Chicago due to it's his hometown.
In a report held by the Palm Beach Post, Dragic mentioned that he is not tired after he led the Slovenian national team, sending them to the 2017 qualifiers without any losses. He cited that he is ready for the upcoming NBA season and is excited.
Goran Dragic will now be the centerpiece of the Miami Heat along with Hassan Whiteside. Though there are reports that Dragic and Whiteside have issues between them, it won't be a hindrance for them to lead the Miami Heat this season.
