It's a royal day out for Prince George and Princess Charlotte in Victoria,Canada--the first of the many engagements that the brother-sister pair will embark on to for the rest of their regal lives.
As spotted by BBC, the three-year-old son and 16-month old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Katherine, were seen to have a fun-filled playdate with balloons and ponies. The kids played along the children of Canadian militaries at the 36-acre Government House.
Not only that the rare event has been the first official tour as a family, Reuters reported that the adorable princess was heard to speak the her first word in public--"pop." No wonder it was the first word to hear from the lips of Charlotte as her love of balloons is no secret even before.
As for the next-generation heir of throne after Prince William, Prince George was seen to be playing bubbles with his father. The gathering has been the sixth day of their joint engagement in Canada, a territory also ruled by the British Monarch. The Cambridges will stay in the country for a week.
Some couldn't help but notice intricate details the royal siblings. As per a People report, it was said that Princess Charlotte's sweater was a hand-me-down from no less than her big brother, himself. Followers of the royal family wouldknow by heart that it's not only the princess who's doing the upcycling when it comes to wardrobe, as her mother doesit herself--in fact, for a lot of times!
Speaking to the publication, owner of Eponymous Children's Wear Amaia Arrieta, who gave the sweater to the royal family as a gift for the birth of their first-born, said that it's "so love and exciting" to see their "pieces enjoyed and worn in different ways."
Government House will be the last itinerary for the royal siblings but the Duke and Duchess are set to visit Haida Gwaii, British Columbia, where they will be opening a new hospital and care centre. The couple will also visit Cridge Centre for the Family on the same day, Sept. 30, to conclude the Canadian engagement.
