No doubt, viewers of "The Flash" & "Supergirl" are eagerly waiting for the musical crossover. Expected to air in early 2017, the powers-that-be are already planning the special episode. But one of the stars of the shows have expressed getting anxious about what could happen.
Candice Patton, who plays Iris on "The Flash," indicated that she's slightly nervous about the crossover with "Supergirl" despite not yet knowing what it will be about. "We haven't done anything like this -- maybe Grant (Gustin) on "Glee" -- but that's it," the actress told Entertainment Tonight.
However, she also expressed her excitement for the musical crossover between "The Flash" and "Supergirl" because this doesn't happen often on television. The young star said that she's ready to do anything for the special episode. "I don't know what my part in it will be, if it'll be big or small, but whatever they throw at me, I'm willing to do," Candice Patton further told the news outlet.
Matt Letscher, who plays Reverse-Flash in The CW series, said he has no idea if he's going to be part of "The Flash" and "Supergirl" musical crossover. However, he's not shy about admitting that he no one would probably like to hear him sing. "Unless, maybe they'll write me some sort of Reverse-Flash rap. Maybe I can be the real hip-hop element in this universe," the actor told The Wrap.
Earlier, "The Flash" and "Supergirl" executive producer Greg Berlanti revealed that there will be original songs in the musical crossover. "I have a few ideas for tone and style in my head but we're just starting to talk about what that can be," Berlanti told Indie Wire.
No word yet on who is going to create the songs or do the choreography for the shows as the particular episode is still in the planning stages. Before the musical crossover "The Flash" and "Supergirl" have yet to deliver its four-way crossover later this season with "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow."
