The Avengers are among the most popular Earth superheroes in the big screens. The majority of them are last seen in "Captain America: Civil War." For those who missed Thor and Hulk, reports have it that the pair will reunite with the rest of the Avengers in "Avengers: Infinity War."
According to recent reports, Chris Pratt's Star-Lord from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" will be joining "Avengers: Infinity War." Per Chatt Sports Net, the character will be the bridge between the two major films that belong in the Marvel universe. Yes, you read it right, a potential crossover is expected in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" film.
According to Schmoes Know, the "Avengers: Infinity War" script includes a lot of Chris Pratt's Peter Quill role. However, the report did not include sources or additional details about the alleged leaked script.
Although fans are hopeful to see a crossover in "Avengers: Infinity War" these claims remain vague until Marvel confirmed it. Although the "Avengers" and "Guardians of the Galaxy" belong in the same universe, they have a different forte.
Director James Gunn already said that he has no plans in cramming Peter Quill, Gamora and Groot with the Earthbound Avengers. Gunn added that fans should not assume to find the "Guardians of the Galaxy" characters in "Avengers: Infinity War" because they have their own galaxy to take care of.
Meanwhile, HNGN added that Chris Pratt's appearance in "Avengers: Infinity War" is still not confirmed. If it is true that Star-Lord will join the Avengers, it remains unknown if the Avengers will end up in the outer space or if Peter Quill will return to Earth, where he will meet and work with the Earthbound superheroes.
