"Pokemon Go" will reportedly reward players for catching the same monster. Also, the latest update of "Pokemon Go" will let players play in the gym training easier.
Accordingly, "Pokemon Go" players most often than not catch the same monster in the app and the creator of the game, Niantic, will make this their strong suit as a new feature regarding this will be introduced.
As of the time being, "Pokemon Go" players catching multiple Pokemon monsters get medals. The Pokemon monsters have to be of the same type such as fighting types or water types. For the upcoming new feature in "Pokemon Go," earning the medals will now boost the chances of catching Pokemons of the same type that are rare to find, CNET reported.
A statement from Niantic further explains, "For example, as you reach a higher tier for the Kindler Medal, your bonus to catch Fire-type Pokémon such as Charmander, Vulpix and Ponyta increases."
Aside from catching the same types of Pokemons, it has been revealed by Niantic that playing in the gym training will be much easier for "Pokemon Go" players soon. Players will now have the option to bring six of their Pokemon monsters to a friendly gym. The enemy Pokemon's Combat Power will be lowered if in case the training player's Combat Power is lower, IGN reported. This will then make the match fairer.
Niantic has not announced when these new features and updates for "Pokemon Go" will be rolling out.
The latest update for "Pokemon Go" was rolled out last month. This update is the Buddy feature wherein the player could walk with their Pokemon character of their choice. When walking with a Pokemon, candies are gathered along the way and this can be used to evolve them into a higher kind of Pokemon monster.
The "Pokemon Go" fever has quieted down in the past few weeks.
