"Stranger Things" stars Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven) and David Harbour (Chief Hopper) delighted fans at the New York Comic Con as they answer fan questions about the Upside Down. While the stars were tight lipped on the details of the upcoming season of the show, Harbour revealed that Barb would definitely find justice on "Stranger Things" Season 2.
Harbour addressed the concerns of "Stranger Things" fans on Barb's disappearance that have spread over social media sites. The "Stranger Things" actor promised that questions and mysteries behind Barb's case will be uncovered on the next season of the show.
However, Harbour also made it clear that Barb is already dead on "Stranger Things" and that is something he was certain about. "I can assure you that Barb is very much dead," the "Stranger Things" actor said according to a report from The Verge.
Harbour also revealed that "Stranger Things" Season 2 will highlight flashbacks about Chief Hopper's daughter who died from the previous season. According to the "Stranger Things" actor, Chief Hopper feels guilt that he was able to save a lot of people but he was not able to save his own daughter, Gizmodo reported. Harbour continued to explain that Chief Hopper carries that burden over his shoulders but he knows that he can no longer do anything about it.
Meanwhile, Brown's charm and wit was reportedly noticeable during the "Stranger Things" panel at the New York Comic Con so she was asked whether she would consider acting for a comedy show. Interestingly, the "Stranger Things" star revealed that she once auditioned for Melissa McCarthy's The Boss but unfortunately, she did not get the role. Harbour then jokingly interrupted, "You would be the boss."
"Stranger Things" Season 2 has been confirmed by Netflix for production recently. The show is slated to premiere in 2017 with no official air date yet.
