"The Big Bang Theory" airs a fresh episode on Monday, Oct. 10, at 8 p.m. on CBS. This week Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) take another step into their relationship, while Raj learns what sex Howard and Bernadette's baby will be ahead of his best friends.
In the episode entitled "The Cohabitation Experimentation," which airs this week on "The Big Bang Theory," Sheldon and Amy try living together for the first time, following a flood in the latter's apartment. However, because Sheldon takes a long and hard time to adjust to changes like this, Amy will take on a different approach to ease him into the new situation.
"A good way to trick Sheldon into doing things is by framing it in terms of science," said "The Big Bang Theory" executive producer Steve Molaro, according to Entertainment Weekly. How long the "experiment" will last is still unsure. It's also unclear if the situation will lead to a permanent one between the longtime couple. It's expectedly going to be an awkward situation, especially since Molaro also said that Sheldon is very much aware that this is actually not an experiment.
However, the changes shouldn't affect the current dynamics between the characters on "The Big Bang Theory." As Amy moves in, there will now be four people in Sheldon and Leonard's apartment, including Penny.
Meanwhile, Raj will be the first to learn about the gender of Bernadette and Howard's baby on "The Big Bang Theory" and things will be tense between the friends. How he comes to the information will make Raj uncomfortable, more so because it will upset the couple, according to the episode synopsis, per Broadway World.
