This one is gonna be legen--wait for it--dary! Word is that "How I Met Your Mother" may possibly be coming back for it's 10th season, as hinted by Alyson Hanigan a.k.a. Lily Aldrin.

The on-screen wife of Marshall Eriksen recently spoke with Wet Paint and said that a "How I Met Your Mother" spin-off may be expected, but not really time soon. That is, at least according to her husband who is played by Jason Segel.

"In the last season [of HIMYM], I was like, 'We need to do a Marshall-Lily spin-off,'" the 42-year-old "How I Met Your Mother" star said. "He said 10 years ... and then we can come back."

The "How I Met Your Mother" star even said they plan to have it differently titled, and not necessarily need to be about Lily and Marshall. Hanigan said they can name the "How I Met Your Mother" spin-off as "Out By Lunch."

Hannigan explained that they all worked so fast during the scene tapings of "How I Met Your Mother," they get to call it a day during lunch time. However, she revealed that although they, both liked working together for "How I Met Your Mother" that they can do a whole new sitcom.

Per IMDB, "How I Met Your Mother" is a flashback story that centralizes around Alyson Hannigan's on-screen friend, Ted Mosby (as reprised by Josh Radnor). All throughout nine seasons of "How I Met Your Mother", the architect recounts the story to his kids, as well as the adventures he and his friends experienced along the way.

Apart from Radnor, Hannigan and Segel, cast of "How I Met Your Mother" include Neil Patrick Harris (as Barney Stinson) and Cobie Smulders (as Robin Scherbatsky).
