According to Slash Film, every once in a while, IMAX's release of one film provides promotion for another. For instance, the movie "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" featured a preview footage of "Dark Knight Rises."
This time "Mission Impossible" fans will be overjoyed with the latest update for the much-awaited movie sequel, "Mission Impossible 5". Paramount Pictures and Skydance announced that a five-minute sneak peak of "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation" will be played exclusively in IMAX theaters starting today, June 30, at 7 pm, Collider reports. The catch is, it is exclusive to North American IMAX screening of "Terminator Genisys."
So the five-minute IMAX preview will be a bonus to moviegoers, who will be watching "Terminator Genisys," and a double fun for those who love both movies.
The Plot
In the latest sequel, "Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation", the IMF team is disbanded and Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is out in the cold. The team will face a new threat, a network of highly skilled special agents called the Syndicates. Syndicates are highly trained agents that impetuously create new world order through an intensifying series of terrorist attacks. Ethan gathers his team and they work with disavowed British agent Isla Faust (Rebecca Furguson), who may or may not be a member of the rogue nation. That is for the IMF team to find out while they face their most impossible mission yet, Broadway World reports.

The "Avengers: Age of Ultron" star has signed a three-picture deal to play Brant's character opposite Cruise's Hunt in the "Mission" series.
Joining the original casts in the new sequel are Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, Simon McBurney, Zhang Jingchu and Alec Baldwin.
