Nokia is now making a comeback in the mainstream of gizmos and gadgets with the upcoming Nokia D1C. The Nokia D1C was named as a smartphone, a mid-range powered device.
On a review held by the very famous smartphone site GSM Arena, the Nokia D1C is actually a tablet. Physically, this Nokia D1C has a 13.8 screen and was confirmed to use the Android 7.0 Nougat.
Nokia is now trying to get back in the line business as they send the Nokia D1C as a competitor to the Samsung Galaxy View Tablet. Conceived as a midrange smartphone, the Nokia D1C packed with some the best portable chipset available around the market.
The Slash Gear was able to check the Nokia D1C device itself, confirming that it has a 13.8 inch screen size 1080P Full HD. The Slash Gear said that this means it is a huge tablet that will run a slow density pixel rate. With the new Android 7.0 Nougat, the Nokia D1C will be using the Z launcher.
The Nokia D1C is equipped with a massive 3GB of RAM with a 16GB storage, which actually has a 9GB usable for the owners. Nokia D1C will also feature an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430, running at 1.4 GHz. And one of the best feature it has is a 16 megapixel rear camera, while on the front it has an 8 megapixel camera.
Nokia stepped back after the smartphones hit the market. With the Apple and Samsung almost owning the marketability, Nokia was not able to anticipate the tough competition in smartphone line.
Now, as part of the Nokia's comeback, Nokia also announced their partnership with the Finnish mobile manufacturing company, The HMD Global. The Nokia D1C is their first project together and is the second tablet device after the Nokia N1 failed to climb on top.
