Melissa McCarthy Weight Loss Secret: 'Ghostbusters' Actress Reveals Secret to Shedding 75 Pounds Easily

Melissa McCarthy surprised everyone as she revealed her much healthier self for all the world to see. As of now, the comedian has successfully lost 75 pounds of her weight and she is not keeping her weight loss regimen a secret.

According to the "Ghostbusters" actress, her weight loss can be contributed to her nutritionist, fitness experts, and doctors. And while she eats right, she also regularly exercises. According to Hollywood Life, Melissa McCarthy tries her best to stick to a high-protein and low-carb diet which helped her body to shed the pounds off.

The actress also revealed that after she did not think much about her weight but still considered on staying healthy that her weight loses begins. "I truly stopped worrying about it," McCarthy admitted. "I think there's something to kinda loosening up and not being so nervous and rigid about it that, bizarrely, has worked," Lifestyle Mag reported.

She also admitted to Hollywood Life that the secret to a successful weight loss is to have a boring life. She also said that if people want to lose weight, they better start sleeping early at around 7:30 PM. But of course, Melissa McCarthy may just be joking.

While Melissa McCarthy seems to be getting everything she wants to have including a very good career and a healthier body, her attitude and work ethic has remained the same. According to the actress, she wants her two daughters, Vivian and Georgette to provide positivity. "A biggie for me is, take the compliment... It's kind of a rule with me - just say thank you, don't negate it," Melissa McCarthy said. "I hope that's one of the many ways I show my girls that it's OK to like who you are and it's ok that everybody's different. If we were all the same, we'd be robots."
