Rockstar Games has finally confirmed the release date of GTA 5's next installment of free downloadable content, which they promised to be available this summer. The new Ill-Gotten Gain Part two DLC will be available by next week, Wednesday, July 8, Express has learned. GTA 5 fans are surely looking forward to getting their hands on the latest content.
The big announcement was made through the game developer's website along with the news of the "Welcome to Los Santos" soundtrack release, Latin Post reports. According to the developer's press release, the "Welcome to Los Santos" collection of songs was initially released for PC. However, the growing popularity of the music, accompanying the popular video game, among its fans convinced Rockstar to include it in the console versions for Playstation and Xbox.
The soundtrack features a number of artists from various genres including Little Dragon, Phantogram, Earl Sweatshirt, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe, Freddie Gibbs and Popcaan, to name a few.
Along with the new soundtrack comes a new collection of clothing and accessories, more powerful weapons and advanced vehicles.
The upcoming update is said to also include the PC-exclusive "The Lab" radio station, which will soon be available for all four consoles.
According to Rockstar in their website, fans can expect the following items or features in the upcoming update of the Ill-Gotten Gains DLC:
- The stylish Coil Brawler which is equipped to handle any terrain from San Chianski Mountain Range to the sidewalks of Vinewood Boulevard
- Docktease expands its fleet with the classic Lampadati Toro
- New shipments of clothing and accessories are available at high end retailers across Los Santos
- The Invetero Coquette BlackFin offers a new body style on an old favorite.
- The extremely powerful and damaging, single-shot Marksman Pistol
- The blazingly fast Progen T20 is built from the ground up for quick getaways and street-tuning.
- Knuckledusters from Ammu-Nation that offers a way to connect with new friends all over Los Santos
- Represent your local custom shop in the Vapid Chino with a Los Santos Customs Plaque.
- Luxury meets raw power with the Dinka Vindicator
According to Express, Rockstar has confirmed that the Rockstar Editor will not be compatible with GTA V on the Xbox 360 and PS3 because it requires additional processing power.
However, fans who changed to new-gen consoles, will soon get a version designed for Xbox One and Playstation 4, which will likely be released late this summer along with the launch of the Ill-Gotten Gains' contain update.
Rockstar is calling for GTA 5 fans to stay tuned for additional details on next week's update including the particulars of their second Ill-Gotten Gains Social Club Event Weekend scheduled on Friday, July 12.
