Apple iOS 10 Update: What People Need To Know Before Going For That Upgrade!

Since its recent introduction, the iOS 10 has gotten different receptions from iPhone users all over the world. A good number have professed to like it, while some don't particularly like the new iOS 10 version.

Apple's iOS 10 is considerably the most powerful and exciting release to date. But even with it being the most powerful and exciting, it also comes with some features that are nothing to shout about.

According to TechnoBuffalo, one of the biggest setbacks with the iOS 10 is that the grid layout wears thin which makes an iPhone user unable to replace defaults apps. It also takes a lot of swipes and taps to respond even with simple actions.

One of the most common problems experienced by users after upgrading to iOS 10 is that the Slide to Unlock option has disappeared. iPhone users have previously been able to unlock their phone by just pressing on the home button before.

After upgrading to iOS 10, users are now required to press the home button once and then press another time for the phone to unlock. Most of those who recently upgraded to iOS 10 have faced having to do multiple pressing on the home button, resulting for the PIN or Passcode screen to be launched.

However with the iOS 10 upgrade, users have reported that they find the Control Center pleasing to look at as music controls have been moved to a separate pane. This change, similar to the Slide to Unlock issue, requiring users to swipe more than once.

Inverse has also reported other issues, such as problems unlocking the phone, calling and texting contacts from 3D Touch, playing and pausing music with Control Center, adding a contact when a new SMS is received from a new number and playing music on Apple Music.

Though there are noteworthy features iOS 10 would provide users, it is rather important to be prepared of the changes before performing the upgrade. If all apps and functions of your current iPhone or iPad work seamlessly without upgrading to iOS 10, then it is best to leave it as it is.
