Bobbi Kristina Brown Update & News: The End is Near & Family Has Gathered By Her Side, Says Insider

Bobbi Kristina Brown has been in a coma since she was found unconscious in her bathtub on January 31 and her condition over time has worsened. Her family and friends believe that her death is imminent.

The 22-year-old only daughter of Whitney Houston was moved to Peachtree Christian Hospice last week, and, at the time of her transfer, the family also decided to remove her life support. Her family tried to be by her side in the last few days, including her father Bobby Brown and Aunt Tina Brown, who visited her in Atlanta Hospice. Her aunt and co-guardian, Pat Houston, from her mother's side, has also been doing vigil at her bedside, Radar Online reports.

An insider told Fox News, "She barely has any signs of life, hardly any vitals." The insider added that Bobbi Kristina was flown to Chicago to meet the specialists Oprah and Perry suggested, but the Atlanta doctors confirmed that there was no hope, which triggered the family to stop the medication and take off the artificial mean of support.

"Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, [her] condition has continued to deteriorate, " Pat Houston said. "We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

In a report from E! News, three weeks before Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious, she called Alex Reid, one of her best friends. She sounded scared and distraught and admitted to hiding from her live-in boyfriend, Nick Gordon. She reportedly hid in her deceased mother's closet.

Alex recalled their conversation and told E! News, "She was sobbing. Nick had hit her and she was scared. She was very upset. She didn't know what to do. It was as if, she didn't have anyone else to turn to. It was heartbreaking."

Alex and Krissi met during Grammys week two years ago, and the two girls immediately became best friends. They often talk , sometimes daily. Alex was very sad with Krissi's condition, and she felt that the only thing she could do to help was to speak up about her knowledge. She admitted that she never witnessed Gordon hurting Krissi physically, but Krissi would often FaceTime her when she was distraught and showed Alex her bruises.

"There are things that I know that no one else does," Alex said. "And I hope that by speaking out I can help the investigation in some way."

On the other hand, Krissi's aunt, Leolah Brown, has spoken up that she will make sure justice will be served for her niece. The family will do their best to not allow Krissi's suffering to be in vain, People has learned.

However, Gordon's close relative believes that he is just a scapegoat in the case. They are certain that Gordon did not do anything wrong and he is preparing for the case. According to People, Gordon assembled a high-powered legal team. He hired Jose Baez, the lawyer who acquitted Casey Anthony in her 2011 murder case after allegedly killing her daughter, to give him advice after Bobbi Kristina's conservator accused him of domestic violence and stealing money.
