After a few months of what felt like a long and tedious waiting, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is finally confirmed. The title is due to come Fall of 2017. The latest Rockstar game will make its way through PS4 and Xbox ONE gaming consoles.
Straight off fresh from Rockstar's website, the comeback of "Red Dead Redemption" in 2010 has been finally determined and this proves the rumor about the leaked "R2D2" map that sprawled sometime in April. The news of "Red Dead Redemption 2" being brought to life came after the game developer teased the entire week for its upcoming update.
Very little amount of details has been released as of press time, but along with the good news of "Red Dead Redemption 2" coming to reality, Rockstar also released a scheduled premiere of the title's very first trailer. The trailer is set to be available on October 20th, Thursday, at 11 a.m EST.
While the map rumor that leaked on NeoGaf indeed proved that there is an upcoming "Red Dead Redemption" sequel after six long years, whether or not the map had a crossover with Take-Two Interactive's "Mafia 3" is yet to be known. As previously reported by Parent Herald, the leak showed a new location for "Red Dead Redemption 2".
Keen fans were able to notice New Bordeaux as part of the leaked map, and in turn, they could not help but think that this new landmark may have been the primary location of "Mafia 3". Along with New Bordeaux are other landmarks such as Great Plains, which also hints that "Red Dead Redemption 2" can be a prequel, says Tech Radar.
One source close to the Rockstar creators anonymously confirmed the veracity of the leaked image. The source added that the map is just a piece of a bigger map to be used for "Red Dead Redemption 2".
