Numerous rumors and fan theories have surfaced online ahead of "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Among those rumors involve a possible alliance between Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Jon Snow (Kit Harington).
Los Siete Reinos, a "Game of Thrones" Spanish-language fan site, reported via Winter Is Coming that the highly popular HBO series' crew will film scenes at three Basque beaches in Spain: Ituzrun in Zumaia, Muriola in Barrika, and San Juan de Gaztelugatxe in Bermeo. Initial speculations believed that the multiple locations meant that Daenerys' fleet would be separated into groups, but Los Siete Reinos now claimed that all three sets will be used as one on-screen location for "Game of Thrones" Season 7.
Los Siete Reinos added that the three locations for "Game of Thrones" Season 7 would serve as Dragonstone, the original and former seat of House Targaryen in Westeros. The Spanish site also reported that Harington will fly to the Basque seaside, which suggests that the upcoming season will feature a face-to-face meeting of Daenerys and Jon.
This meeting between Daenerys and Jon on "Game of Thrones" Season 7 is undoubtedly an exciting arc in the series. Jon is Daenerys' nephew from Rhaegar Targaryen (the Khaleesi's deceased older brother) and Lyanna Stark. Not to mention the fact that the two characters represent the "Song of Ice and Fire" title of the book series that the show was based on. That title, however, can also symbolize dragons and the White Walkers.
An alliance between Daenerys and Jon on "Game of Thrones" is plausible. The Mother of Dragons is the most likely ruling party to be convinced of the White Walkers' existence and the threat they possess to the inhabitants of Westeros.
Another report also revealed a meeting between Daenerys and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) and Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) -- both trusted envoys of House Stark -- on "Game of Thrones" Season 7, Parent Herald previously reported. The three characters meeting was said to take place at the Dragonpit, the ruins which housed the Targaryen clan's dragons a long time ago.
Another possible meet-up between long-lost family members involves Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) and her brothers Jon and Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) and sister Sansa (Sophie Turner). This rumor gained traction after Williams and Wright were spotted on set together, according to photos that surfaced on Twitter. Williams was also seen in a costume that resembles the garb worn by people in the North, specifically her younger brother Bran.
"Game of Thrones" Season 7 premieres on HBO in summer of 2017. Watch a teaser below.
