British conspiracy theorist and UFO theoretician, Max Spiers, was found dead on the sofa in an apartment in Warsaw, Poland. Spiers was there in Poland giving a talk about UFOs and other conspiracy theories.
Max Spiers' death has been declared to be due to natural causes. However, the sudden death of a healthy man has shocked his friends and family who assert that there is certainly something fishy about his death. According to reports by Washington Post, one of the last text messages that Spiers sent to his mother read, "Your boy is in trouble. If anything happens to me, please investigate."
This has unleashed a wave of suspicions among his supporters. UFO blogger Craig Hewlett has implied in his posts that Spiers was murdered. "If it wasn't true what he talks about, then why would they kill him? Healthy people just don't get sick and die, they get poisoned," he remarked.
In a strange chain of events, several UFO researchers have been killed in the past when they tried to reveal the findings of their research on extra-terrestrial beings. Nigel Watson, the author of "UFO Investigations Manual" feels that if UFO researchers are being killed, there has to be an organization behind their deaths. "It relates to the concept of Men in Black, who are either alien in human disguise or government agents who stop UFO witnesses from making their appearances public. MIB usually verbally intimidate people but it does seem logical that they would stretch to violence and murder when needed," he added.
A post-mortem has not been conducted, which is leading to more suspicions about his mysterious death. Recently, Max was looking into the lives of well-known figures in the world of politics, business and entertainment. Hence some people also are speculating that the government may be behind his death, reported Evening Standard.
Max Spiers was buried at the Canterbury cemetery. He is survived by two sons, a sister, a brother and his mother.
