"Frozen 2" has been confirmed, but Disney has yet to disclose any specifics about the highly anticipated sequel. Rumors are rife that a 2017 release date could be underway, although no one really can say for certain whether the movie will be done by next year.
There have been a lot of speculations going around about "Frozen 2" recently. Some have been hinting that Anna will also discover her own powers that match her sister's icy capabilities. Other rumors are also circulating suggesting that Prince Hans could potentially return as a reformed man and will be an ally for both Anna and Elsa in "Frozen 2."
While the rumors that have surfaced online continue to be based on pure predictions and theories, one thing that is confirmed as of writing is Kristen Bell's return as Anna. The blonde beauty recently claimed that the script for the sequel has yet to be finalized, suggesting that the follow-up movie has been having some sort of delay.
Idina Menzel as Elsa and Josh Gad as Olaf will reportedly return in "Frozen 2" as well. The three characters are considered to be the central figures in the first movie.
Meanwhile, new reports have also started to claim that "Frozen 2" will most probably introduce a King that will win over Queen Elsa's heart. According to Movie News Guide, the central theme for the upcoming movie could be about finding love. As the sisters mature, it would be possible that a love interest for the icy queen could be included in the storyline.
Apart from Elsa finding her king, previous "Frozen 2" plot, cast and release date reports have also hinted that Olaf could also have his own love interest in the sequel. Telegraph once noted that the addition of Olaf's lady love could be a good strategy for merchandise.
