China Tech giant LeEco enters the US market with LeEco LePro 3 and LeEco Le S3 smartphones and UHD TVs. This should give the US consumers a wide variety of quality yet affordable devices to choose from.
According to Anand Tech, LeEco announced their official entry to the US market during the "Ignite the Eco World" in San Francisco. This is an important step in the LeEco's globalization plan. This is plan is also to include their phones LeEco LePro 3 and Le S3.
The LeEco LePro 3 and LeEco Le S3 are their smartphones which boast of good quality and up-to-date specs but for an affordable price. It is expected that both LeEco LePro 3 and LeEco Le S3 phones will do well in the market with the right marketing and partnership with telco providers.
LeEco LePro 3 and Le S3 both have 5.5-inches 1080p display, but use different hardware. The LeEco LePro 3 includes the most updated and recent Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64MB of internal storage space. However, it is important to note that LeEco LePro 3 does not offer additional storage tiers or microSD slot support. LeEco LePro 3 makes up by having 4070 mAh of battery perfect for users on their phones a lot.
The LeEco LeS3 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 SoC, combining all four ARM Cortex-A72 CPU cores, four Cortex-A53 cores and Adreno 510 GPU which supports all of the latest 3D graphics APIs. The LeEco LeS3 has 3GB of LPDDR RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
Both LeEco LePro 3 and LeEco Le S3 come with 8MP front-facing camera and 16MP main camera found on the back. Video recording for LeEco LePro 3 and LeEco Le S3 are considered basic because it only supports 2160p30, 1080p30 and 720p30 modes.
As shared by Beta News, the high-end LeEco LePro 3 will retail at $399 US but on actual launch date, it said to have $100 US rebate cutting the price down to $299 US. The LeEco LePro 3 is said to be launched on Nov. 2.
