Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom's divorce settlement is finally done and signed by the two. All that is needed for it to be official is the judge's signature.
The 32-year old "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star and 36-year old NBA player have come to an agreement on their divorce. An insider shared to Us Weekly that Khloe and Lamar are pleased that it's done and would like to just move on with their lives.
The divorce of Khloe and Lamar has been a long on-and-off process. As previously reported by TMZ, Khloe filed for divorce as early as December 2013, four years into the marriage. But the divorce process did not push forward for about two years as the couple tried to save their relationship.
Then last year when Lamar was hospitalized and almost died from drug overdose, Khloe decided to drop the file for divorce and stay with Lamar to help him through his struggle and try to fix their lives together. But this proves not to be working when Khloe filed again for divorce on May of this year.
Khloe and Lamar's divorce will not be finalized until December. As per California state law, the judge can only sign off the divorce six months after the initial filing for divorce.
Khloe shared in August this year that their divorce is "bittersweet". She said that she will always love Lamar and be there for him as a friend but it's time for her to move on with her life, according to E! Online.
The reality TV superstar is positively moving on with her life and is currently dating NBA player Tristan Thompson. The two are taking things slow and, of course, Khloe is being careful not to do anything rush, according to Entertainment Tonight. Nonetheless, it's worth seeing where the relationship will go as Tristan is already mother-approved.
