MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date, Price Points & Update: Apple To Unveil 2 MacBook Pro Models This Month; Specs, Features Inside

MacBook Pro 2016 is expected to be unveiled in the upcoming Apple event to be held on Oct. 27. The said event will reportedly highlight the company's Mac line-up of laptops and computers. Here is a rundown of some new specs that will be integrated into the new MacBook Pro.

MacBook Pro 2016 is speculated to sport a thinner and lighter design compared to the current model of MacBook Air. Apple apparently integrated a small touchscreen strip on the keyboard to replace old functions keys, making its design thin and light. The OLED touchscreen technology implemented on the MacBook Pro 2016 is also reportedly intended to support Touch ID and other third-party apps, 9to5mac reported.

MacBook Pro 2016 is also suggested to arrive in two variants, 13-inch and 15-inch models according to a reliable KGI Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, PC Advisor reported. Both models are assumed to carry the current MacBook Pro Retina display. However, Apple is said to improve on its processor and is planning to integrate the latest Intel seventh-generation Kaby Lake that will also come with a faster GPU.

Apple, as it seems, has been busy with the development of new technologies and rumor has it that the MacBook Pro 2016 will also come with a trackpad that supports stylus. It can be recalled that Apple has already introduced the Apple Pencil with the iPad Pro last year and this time, the company is believed to implement the same feature on the new MacBook Pro, The Week reported. Additionally, reports claimed that MacBook Pro's trackpad will be larger, allowing more space for the use of a stylus.

MacBook Pro 2016 price point is speculated to start from £999 in the United Kingdom as Apple is expected to keep its current pricing. No reports have confirmed the selling price of the MacBook Pro 2016, however.
