NFL News: Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo Rumored To Be Traded To Los Angeles Rams

Although it is improbable, the Dallas Cowboys could trade quarterback Tony Romo to the Los Angeles Rams before the NFL trade deadline on November 1. The Cowboys will play only one game before the expiration of the trade deadline.

The Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears, and San Francisco 49ers were also rumored to be interested in acquiring Romo, but it was the Denver Broncos, the New York Jets, and the Rams that were most likely to obtain Romo's service.

According to Sportsrageous, the Rams have been struggling since their move from St. Louis, and are in need of assistance that Romo can offer. Rams quarterbacks Jared Goff and Case Keenum have not been performing well since the Rams' strong 3-1 start to the season. The Rams currently have a season record of 3-4.

The Cowboys are considering the trade given that rookie quarterback Dak Prescott has been performing well for the Cowboys. Trading Romo could mean a first round draft pick for the Cowboys.

Numerous analysts believe that Prescott can continue to direct the Cowboys in the right direction. The Cowboys hold a 5-1 record in the season at the moment. Romo experienced a back injury in August, and since then Prescott has taken over the quarterback position. Many also believe that Romo's return will only disrupt the Cowboys' momentum.

The Rams hold a second and fourth round draft pick for the 2017 NFL draft, and future picks for the 2018 draft. If the trade materializes, Romo could help the Rams improve their recent lackluster performances.

According to Rams Wire's Bryan Kalbrosky, the Cowboys will most likely not trade Romo to the Rams, but can opt to rethink the trade in the offseason. He believes the Rams have what it takes to acquire Romo from the Cowboys.

Will the Cowboys decide to carry on with the Romo trade?
