North Dakota On Their Stand In Medical Marijuana; Know The Benefits Of Weed

Locals of North Dakota are about to make a vote regarding the legalization of medical marijuana in their state this coming November. This would mean that if it gets approved, people could have access to the said drug, but only for medical reasons and with a regulated amount.

In an article published by CBS Local, it is looking like medical marijuana could finally have its way in the state of North Dakota depending on the votes it will get to allow it. The law that supports it is called Measure 5, which basically lets a person who is medically ill to have a maximum 3 ounces of medical marijuana for the sole purpose of treatment. Among the diseases that medical marijuana could cover in this state should it gets approved are cancer, glaucoma, AIDS and epilepsy just to name a few.

The department of health in North Dakota would give out IDs for patients who will need medical marijuana. They would also have to regulate the licensed that they will be issuing to their local dispensaries. There are a lot of people who are for the legalization of medical marijuana in this despite, but there are also those who not in favor of this matter.

These people raise the concern regarding the right dosages that a person should have when taking medical marijuana as a form of medication. They are also worried that not enough safeguards are there in the proposed Measure 5 to make sure that people won't abuse it.

There are many testimonies about the good effects of using medical marijuana, which creates a huge chance that it gets legalized next month.
