"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" full-length trailer has been released and it revealed how Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) struggles in her current life. Fortunately, she found comfort in Jess Mariano (Milo Ventimiglia) who she confided her problems with as seen in the trailer. Could this mean that Jess and Rory's love story will also get a reboot?
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is expected to see Rory try to reach her life plans but the trailer clearly showed that she is not near her goals. "I have no job, I have no credit, I have no underwear," said Rory in a chat with Jess. Jess then complimented her in a toast by saying she has been a contender.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" trailer also saw all of Rory's exes but only Jess was given a conversation scene with Rory. This may thrill Team Jess as Parent Herald pointed out that most of the fans reportedly prefer Rory to end up with Jess. However, previous reports claimed that Rory will marry Logan Huntzberger (Matt Czuchry) instead.
The new trailer of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" also gave away details about the other main players of the show such as Lorelai Gilmore (Lauren Graham), Luke Danes (Scott Patterson) and the matriarch Emily Gilmore (Kelly Bishop). There was a moment of pain and sadness when Emily tried to declutter her house to cope with the death of patriarch Richard Gilmore (the late Edward Herrmann). She even mounted a huge portrait of Richard in the hall that apparently covered the whole wall.
Luke was also seen lecturing Lorelai and Rory about their unusual diet in the trailer of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life." Interestingly, Kirk Gleason (Sean Gunn) was present at a Friday Night Dinner and nobody knows why, The Hollywood Reporter reported. This is a mystery that fans need to unlock as "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" returns.
"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" is slated to premiere on Nov. 25. In the meantime, you can watch the full-length trailer of the highly anticipated series reboot below. You can also leave your insights about "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" in our comment section.
