Apple is expected to unveil new MacBook Pro at an event on Thursday, but there are few leaks already out in the media. A couple of images show MacBook Pro has a touch panel above its keyboard and a fingerprint reader.
The leaked images of touch panel and fingerprint reader were spotted on MacRumors, and they show MacBook Pro narrower with slim bezels around both the keys and screen. The design of MacBook Pro more or less is the same as the present day's MacBook with all keys flat.
It is also reported that the new MacBook Pro will not have an Escape Key. Along with brightness buttons and volume buttons disappearing, Apple is trying to create history by making innovative keyboards.
MacBook Pro's leaked images also highlight touch strip at the top of the keyboard that was rumored for months. One of the leaked MacBook Pro images shows the user experience of Apple Pay, where an arrow points to the right corner of the touch strip--Touch ID fingerprint reader is located.
According to 9to5 Mac, macOS Sierra that was released yesterday and the leaked images of MacBook Pro with Touch ID sensor clearly indicate that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will have fingerprint reader. As per the leaked image, Touch ID sensor on the MacBook can also be used for unlocking the Mac and/or apps and system features as a password alternative.
The anticipated MacBook Pro 2016 will have OLED touch panel and the Touch ID replacing the top row of function keys standard on current Apple products. Apple is expected to unveil all-new MacBook Pro 2016 at its event to be held on Oct. 27. According to supply chain sources MacBook Pro will come ailing with a 13-inch MacBook, iMacs, 5K Display and wireless AirPods.
