Every reader of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series is looking forward to its sixth book, "The Winds of Winter." George RR Martin promises to deliver two more books, "TWOW" and "A Dream of Spring." However, according to reports, "The Winds of Winter" will be the last novel in the "ASOIAF" series.
George RR Martin is a genius in his "A Song of Ice and Fire" novel series. Everyone who reads it would say that it is a masterpiece. Unfortunately, the delay of its sixth book has tested the patience of fans waiting for "The Winds of Winter." When HBO's "Game of Thrones" caught up with GRRM's "TWOW" some didn't watch "GoT" while others lose interest in the upcoming book "The Winds of Winter."
Well, if fans are furious with the delay, the "ASOIAF" scribe is not happy with the fate of his book either. George RR Martin initially plans to release "The Winds of Winter" before "Game of Thrones" Season 6 premieres. However, "GoT" season 6 is long over and "TWOW" is still not on the bookshelves.
New reports suggest that "The Winds of Winter" will be released after "Game of Thrones" Season 7. Thus, HBO's hit TV series will be done by the time "TWOW" see's the light of day. It seems that George RR Martin agrees to this but there's a huge catch, "The Winds of Winter" will be the last "ASOIAF" book. Sorry, there will be no more "A Dream of Spring."
"ASOIAF" readers who have been waiting for "The Winds of Winter" for five years and counting are concerned that it will take another five years to wait for the last book, "A Dream of Spring." Well, there's only six "ASOIAF" books now and "TWOW" is the last.
Per Christian Daily, George RR Martin confirmed that "The Winds of Winter" will be the last book for his "A Song of Ice and Fire." Per the report, GRRM was furious for the "TWOW" leaks that were featured in "Game of Thrones" Season 6 finale.
