Donald Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Wrecked; Profits from Stolen Parts Will Go to Trump’s Sexual Assault Victims

An activist dressed as a construction worker took Donald Trump's name and emblem on his Hollywood Walk of Fame star using a pickax and sledgehammer early Wednesday Morning

The witness, Deadline Hollywood's senior editor Dominic Patten, said he saw a man donning what looked like a Los Angeles City construction gear and with a sledgehammer "started smashing the bejeezus out of the Trump star. Then he took the pickax and was trying to pry one of the points of the star."

The act that lasted for five minutes was even caught on cam and posted at Deadline.com. Several onlookers were also on the scene at that time.

Los Angeles police arrived at the scene at 6:15 a.m. after the authorities received a phone call reporting the destruction of Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star. But the vandal was nowhere to be found. An ongoing investigation has been confirmed by Detective Meghan Aguilar of the LAPD. By Wednesday afternoon, the $30,000 tourist attraction star was being repaired.

The vandal identified himself as James Lambert Otis said that he stole the parts of Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star and will donate the profits of the emblem auction to the alleged victims of Trump's sex assaults. In a video posted by TMZ, Mr. Otis said, "I think it's a symbol for all of us who are against sexual assault, and I don't think Mr Trump deserves that star any longer."

The self-described "non-violent activist" who has been arrested for about 25 times already will turn himself into the police and it would be an honor to face Trump in the court. His attempt will count as a felony.

Several attacks were also done in Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star prior to this including the spray-painted reverse swastika last January and a tiny wall coupled with barbed wire and American flag built by a street artist in July.
