It's Halloween time and "The Elder Scrolls Online" has joined the festivities by launching its first in-game holiday event. "The Witches Festival" kicked off last Oct. 13, but don't fret, there's still time for you to catch up. The event will run for a month.
To participate in Bethesda's event for "The Elder Scrolls Online," the player needs to visit the Crown Store and pick up the Crow Caller. Don't worry, it's free. Blow it and "The Witchmother's Bargain" quest will be bestowed upon the character.
The player then needs to complete the quest to receive the Witchmother's Whistle, which would be used to summon The Witchmother's Cauldron. The cauldron will polymorph the character, and anyone in the player's group, into a zombie. The transformation lasts for two hours, but the player can do it as many times as he wants until Nov. 1, as explained in "The Elder Scrolls Online" announcement.
When the character is morphed as an Undead creature and kills boss monsters, the player gets to win Plunder Skulls. The Plunder Skulls contain "The Elder Scrolls Online" Halloween surprises, such as masks, special holiday Provisioning recipes, the Hollowjack crafting motif.
Players should take note that these are only available for a limited time, so better take advantage of the event and participate in "The Elder Scrolls Online" festival. The Witchmother's Whistle will lose all its super powers when "The Witches Festival" ends, but the player can keep it as a memento.
Meanwhile, the Crown Store in "The Elder Scrolls Online" has some new stocks coming in this November. These include new alliance-themed Style Parlor offerings and the latest Personality. Some of the available items are Abah's Watch Turban, The Crown Crafting Motif Bundle: Thieves Guild, Thief Personality and Alliance-Themed Hair Styles. These news stocks will be available beginning Nov. 17.
