Robin Hood might have died last season on "Once Upon A Time" but reports have confirmed that his character is coming back to the show. Sean Maguire, the actor playing Robin Hood in "OUAT," teased that he will be returning to the show.
In the ending of "OUAT" in Season 5, hearts were breaking after the love of Regina was killed off. Sean Maguire then shared the fate of Robin Hood that he will not only be coming back in flashbacks but also a real character in "Once Upon A Time" Season 6. However, despite being back for a number of episodes on "Once Upon A Time" Season 6, he will only be providing some sort of closure for his character before he finally leaves "OUAT."
Producers reportedly planned the return of Robin Hood on "OUAT" Season 6 and Sean Maguire said that he and the makers of "Once Upon A Time" believed that the viewers will not be satisfied if he only returned via flashbacks, News Everyday reported. It remains unclear, however, how Robin Hood will be re-introduced to "OUAT."
Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, the executive producers of "Once Upon A Time" said of Robin Hood's return that they are thrilled to have him back for this story arc and that they are excited for the audience to see what they have planned, which they hope will be unexpected and surprising.
Sean Maguire added of Robin Hoods' return on "Once Upon A Time" that he does not know the extent of his story arc yet for Season 6 so he is not sure what he could reveal to fans. He did confirm, however, that Robin Hood's introduction on "OUAT" Season 6 is interesting and appealing, Nerdist reported.
He added that he never thought he would get a call to reprise the role of Regina's love so he was pleased that he was called back for a part in "Once Upon A Time" Season 6. He talked about how "OUAT" and the cast has had an impact on him as he has made friendships throughout the years.
Are you thrilled that Robin Hood is coming back somehow for "OUAT" Season 6? "Once Upon A Time" airs Sundays at 8 P.M. on ABC.
