Say it isn't so! Is the CW hit show "Supernatural" ending soon? Not yet but it will have to end eventually. "Supernatural" stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles would like to have Eric Kripke back for the eventual show's finale.
In an interview with TVLine, "Supernatural" star Jared Padalecki has said that if "Supernatural" ends, he'd like original show runner and creator Eric Kripke back for the finale. Co-star Jensen Ackles, who plays big brother, Dean Winchester, seconds the idea saying, "It would be a nice bow on top of the whole thing to have Eric take us out."
Six years ago, creator and former showrunner Eric Kripke left "Supernatural". In episode fifteen of season six of "Supernatural" entitled French Mistake, an actor playing Eric Kripke was shot to death. This was a nod to the real Eric Kripke who then was leaving the show. Now, Eric Kripke is behind NBC show "Timeless". Will he be interested in coming back if ever "Supernatural" ends?
Jokingly, Eric Kripke responds, "When I'm 90?" The "Supernatural" creator does say he is interested in coming back whenever the CW show would end. It might be as a co-writer or any capacity. But the final decision would still depend on "Supernatural" executive producer Bob Singer and current co-show runner Andrew Dabb. Eric Kripke even adds that it would be cool if it were possible.
The end of "Supernatural" would be a long time coming. The show has maintained high ratings all thanks to loyal "Supernatural" fans, dynamic storylines and great acting from the "Supernatural" casts. It would be amiss to end it now.
