According to AOL, for just couple of weeks, Microsoft is offering Apple customers the most anticipated trade-in program. This limited offer of Microsoft is their effort to break in and convince loyal Apple users to use their products and discover the advantages of trying Microsoft.
Microsoft is accepting different models. Depending on which MacBook it is that has been traded, a $650 off can be given. This is enough money to reconsider their loyalty to Apple and switch to Microsoft.
Microsoft made the process simple and straightforward. First, an Apple customer has to visit the Microsoft website to know the trade-in value of the desired MacBook product to be traded-in.
After logging on, Microsoft will send a promo code that the Apple customer needs to use at checkout upon purchase of new Microsoft laptop. Microsoft has also included a buy-back program for various iPads and iPhones hoping to get more people use Microsoft based products.
Why should one use Microsoft laptop and not a MacBook? Interestingly enough, according to Macworld UK, users may not want the fact that Retina MacBook because of additional cost for buying USB-C adaptor. MacBooks only have one single USB-C port.
A MacBook has less power compared to Microsoft laptops. When a laptop user is heavy on graphics and is dependent on applications such as Photoshop, the decline in performance will be noticeable. Compared to Microsoft products, MacBook comes with Intel Core M with only 1.1GHz to 1.3GHz options available.
