Both iPhone 8 and Galaxy S8 will be released by Apple and Samsung respectively by 2017. In spite of its release being months from now, users are anxiously waiting for both iPhone 8 and Galaxy S8 and have it compared.
According to Nashville Chatter, Apple started the year by releasing new iPhones beginning with iPhone SE back in March and more recently, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus last September. Samsung also launched the Galaxy Note 7 but unfortunately, it was one of the most disastrous phones ever released because of burning related complaints raised by owners worldwide.
Samsung has promised to make a huge comeback by 2017 for launching its Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge. Google recently released Daydream VR platform together with its own headset. This means VR or Virtual Reality is here to stay. Both Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge are set to be ready to support the VR platform.
Apple's iPhone 8 is expected to come with an all-glass design with a frame made of aluminum. It is also believed that iPhone 8 could come with curved edge-to-edge OLED display. If Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge are ready for VR, iPhone 8 will be ready for AR which is known to be more superior than VR.
iPhone 8 is also reported to be coming with much bigger batteries compared to the 1960mAh and 2900mAh that iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus have. Samsung also promised longer battery life without the burning issues relating to Note 7.
As added by Neuro Gadget, Samsung is placing orders for components required to make dual-lens camera. Many also speculate that Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Edge's camera will have DSLR quality.
As Apple's answer to this, the iPhone 8's camera will have improved sensor technologies and ability to capture light. iPhone 8 camera will include optical zoom capabilities, HDR+ and OIS.
